Recited by Lama Kunga Choedak. Tilopa’s Mahamudra Instruction to Naropa in twenty Eight Verses was transmitted by the Great Guru and Mahasiddha Tilopa to the Kashmiri Pandit, Sage and Siddha, Naropa, near the banks of the River Ganga upon the completion of his Twelve Austerities. Naropa transmitted the teaching in Sanskrit in the form of twenty eight verses to the great Tibetan translator Mar pa Chos kyi blos gros, who made a free translation of it at his village of Pulahari on the Tibet – Bhutan border. The Tibetan title is Phyag rgya chen po’i man ngag, or Phyag rgya chen po rdo rje’i tsig rkang nyi shu rtsa brgyad pa. Tilopa (Prakrit; Sanskrit: Talika or Tilopada) (988–1069) was born in either Chativavo (Chittagong), Bengal or Jagora, Bengal in India.[1] He was a tantric practitioner and mahasiddha. He developed the mahamudra (Tibetan: phyag rgya chen po) method, a set of spiritual practices that greatly accelerates the process of attaining bodhi (enlightenment). He is regarded as the human founder of the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.[2] Tilopa was born into the brahmin (priestly) caste[1] — according to some sources, a royal family — but he adopted the monastic life upon receiving orders from a dakini[2] (female buddha whose …

Amrit Stein Tibetan Songs of Love and Compassion This CD offers a precious collection of traditional wisdom-songs of the Dakinis, Yogis and Spiritual Masters of Tibet. One of the highlights is the devotional song by Lama Tharchin Rinpoche to the magical intonations of the horse head violin. Amrit Stein arranged this album based upon her many years of extensive practice of Tibetan Buddhism. With her sensitive interpretations of the profound and precious texts and mantras she guides the listener through the many-facets of a rich and enchanting musical journey accompanied by ritual drums, dulcimer, bamboo flute and sitar. The accompanying booklet includes the texts and mantras of each of the ten songs, translated from Tibetan into German, as well as biographies and extraordinary stories from the lives of the great Tibetan masters.

The major monasteries – Gaden, Drepung and Sera, as well as the famous Tantric colleges of Gyuto and Gyumed, all belong to the school of Gelug. His status is the same as Lama Tsongkhapa on earth. Gaden Tripa says “Tsem Tulku Rinpoche is young, he can still teach for a long time. We must respect and have faith and listen to Rinpoche’s teachings. He has a lot of spirit and courage for Dharma and a lot of compassion for the whole world, and this will be very beneficial to the world. Tsem Rinpoche has helped the monastery (Gaden) a lot and I am very happy for the Dharma and for the monastery, I thank Rinpoche very much.” (Oct 2006 in France) ———————————— For a complete listing of Tsemtulku Youtube Videos blog.tsemtulku.com

Audio corrected version- In the luminous cloud of waking arising from the mystery of deep sleep’s dharmakaya tk heard a beautiful dakini sing these words and jotted them down. GURU DEVA DAKINI SARVA SIDDHI PHELA HUNG: To the sublime innate union of awareness and appearance To inseparable Kunzang Yabyum, free from all elaboration, To the Dharmakaya consorts, I offer homage free from concepts. Please grant the blessing realizing, unborn stainless youthful freedom (Youthful Vase Body) To E the supreme basic space, VAM the bliss beyond all stain, To great bliss wisdom Dorje Chang, within the Akanishta palace, To Sambhogakaya consorts I offer homage, exaltation, Please grant the blessing realizing coemergent bliss and wisdom. To compassion’s evidence, obvious for the sake of beings, To emptiness and clarity, unified as wisdom magic, To Nirmanakaya Buddhas, I offer homage through great faith. Please grant the blessings realizing great appearance emptiness. To HUNG, the marriage of appearance and the unborn pure unmoving, To the supreme Guru Pema within the palace Lotus Light To Heruka Tro Tren Tsal I offer homage with remembrance. Please grant the blessing realizing every stage and path of tantra. To BAM the secret wisdom pathway, the dakini’s secret lotus, To Saraswati’s emanation, Single Mother Wisdom Khandro, To exaltation manifesting, I offer homage through the four joys. Please grant the blessing realizing blazing, dripping and the union. To the retinue of wisdom Khandros …
