Kwan Yin is my favorite Bodhisattva. For centuries, Eastern cultures have worshiped Kwan Yin (or Kuan Yin, Quan Yin, Kannon, Guan Yin) as the Compassionate One. Likened to the worship of Mary in the West, she is an image of Mercy and Compassion, a motherly figure said to bestow children on the faithful, protect those at sea, protect all children and be there for anyone in need of her compassion and love. She also eases the heartbreak and loneliness of those whose faith in love has been tested. She hears all prayers .. Her full name Kuan Shih Yin literally means “The one who regards, looks on or hears the cries of the world”. I was compelled to capture the beauty and peace I personally obtain when making prayers and heartfelt talk with most merciful Kwan Yin. I hope you find some beauty, or peace, or something like that in this film
Love, Nuit
